Each tutoring session is customized to each student’s individual needs, which are identified through initial sessions and assessments. It is important to keep in mind that individual improvement is dependent on the student, but Mr. L. is committed to supporting your student’s unique needs, through differentiated and scaffolded approaches, as needed.
Learning is a collaborative process, and Mr. L. is happy to adapt any lessons as needed, to keep the learning enriching and fun.

How Often Do We meet?
Session frequency ranges from weekly to bi-weekly, and exact times and hours will be scheduled depending on your personal needs and goals.
Where Do We meet?
Great question! Tutoring sessions can be held in the pupil’s home (guardians must be present), at a local library, or remotely over Zoom, Google Meet, or Skype.
What to expect during your initial assessment session
Your child’s first tutoring session with be help either virtually or in person. Mr. L. will meet with you and your child for a 45 minute assessment session at the prorated cost of $50. First, he will meet one-on-one with your child with a short assignment so that he can identify their academic needs. The session will end with a 15 minute meeting between the child, guardians, and Mr. L. to go over your child’s tutoring plan.
